This experience is a suggestion — a starting point for your time ashore. Like all our tours, the route, pace, and stops are shaped around what you most want to enjoy, and the timing is always aligned with your ship's schedule.
For those who would like to discover a quieter side of Madeira, this experience takes you beyond the usual routes. From the Funchal cruise terminal, we cross the island via the dramatic Encumeada pass and descend toward the green north coast, with stops shaped to your interests – traditional villages, panoramic viewpoints, and corners of the island most cruise visitors never see.
Possible suggestions include the Encumeada pass, São Vicente and its valley, and the volcanic Seixal coast. We always adjust the route so you return to the port comfortably before all-aboard.
